You are your daughter's expert
"When I found out I was pregnant, I did what most women did, I started devouring books.
I decided to go home to Kenya, where I gave birth to my daughter. Pcried a lot and I, tired and exasperated, often cried with her, trying to remember everything I had read up to then.
One day my grandmother came from the village to makehe visits me. As soon as he saw me he smiled and calmly spoke his simple words:
"You are the expert on your daughter. Don't read books... read your little girl."
